Description
Georgia College is calling for faculty to teach three-credit core courses to incoming freshmen in its Summer 2027 Bridge Scholars residential program. This is a direct match for certified teachers and instructors experienced in Area A–E college-prep coursework.
Georgia College & State University has an open call for faculty to teach Area A through E core courses in its Summer 2027 Bridge Scholars Program, a year-long residential learning community that gives about 136 incoming freshmen a head start on college. Faculty teach a three-credit course meeting mornings or afternoons, Monday through Friday, between June 21 and July 22, 2027, working closely with students who need to pass with a C or better to continue into their freshman year. The role is essentially a condensed college teaching assignment, ideal for current teachers or adjunct instructors comfortable designing and delivering a short, intensive course. Interested faculty submit a paragraph describing their proposed course and teaching approach. Candidates should confirm pay, course availability, and application steps directly with Georgia College.
