Description
Counsel campers ages 7–14 at a lakefront sleepaway camp in the Eldorado National Forest near Lake Tahoe. Teachers will find their classroom-management skills translate directly to cabin life.
Mountain Camp sits on 26 acres on Ice House Lake and welcomes about 230 campers per session, mostly from the Bay Area. Counselors must be at least 19, have completed a year of college or equivalent, and hold CPR and First Aid before camp starts. The camp says applications for Summer 2027 open October 19, 2026, and its positions page describes the roles available. Confirm exact 2027 dates, pay and housing details directly with the employer before accepting an offer.
